Who Is CJ Hendry?

CJ Hendry is an Australian contemporary artist based in New York, best known for her hyperrealistic ballpoint pen drawings and large-scale experiential installations. She first gained widespread attention through social media, where time-lapse videos of her drawings attracted millions of views. Two pieces were created specifically for the Hong Kong edition of Flower Market and are not available anywhere else:

The Henderson Flower was commissioned to mark the 50th anniversary of Henderson Land, the Hong Kong property group presenting the installation. It references the petal-derived architecture of The Henderson, the group's flagship commercial tower in Central designed by Zaha Hadid Architects.

The Bauhinia is a rendering of Hong Kong's emblem flower in Hendry's signature plush medium. It is the most locally resonant work in the exhibition and one of the most discussed pieces of Hong Kong Art Month 2026.

Can You Buy the Flowers?

Yes. Each registered visitor receives one complimentary plush flower upon entry. Additional plush flowers are available to purchase inside the installation at HK$38 per flower. The flowers are available in all 26 designs, including the two Hong Kong-exclusive commissions.
